Introduction
Engineering company based Rustenburgis seeking a skilled and reliable Spray Painter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong understanding of spray‑painting techniques and commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards. The individual must also have experience and knowledge on sand‑blasting.
Duties & Responsibilities- Read and interpret job instructions
- Prepare and mix paint according to specifications
- Surface preparation (cleaning, masking, priming)
- Spray painting of:
- Structural work
- Plate work
- Inspect finished work and report defects
- Maintain spray‑painting equipment
- Ensure correct use of PPE at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Minimum 5years’ solid spray‑painting experience
- Certificate in Spray painting or relevant
- Ability to:
- Spray paint (white, colour, lacquer)
- Sand‑Blast
- Good knowledge of spray application techniques
- Ability to read and write business English
- Good attendance record
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Able to follow instructions clearly
- Follow and apply to all Health and Safety requirements
