About the Role

Our client requires a robust and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaner for a busy manufacturing facility in Rustenburg . This position is integral to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient operational environment, which is paramount in an industrial setting. You will be responsible for specialized cleaning tasks related to production areas, machinery, and general facility upkeep, adhering to stringent safety regulations and specific cleaning protocols.

This role demands a high level of diligence and a strong understanding of industrial hygiene best practices to support the smooth functioning of the plant in North West .

• Perform detailed cleaning of manufacturing floors, including degreasing and sanitizing equipment and high-traffic zones.
• Clean and maintain machinery, ensuring no contaminants interfere with production processes.
• Manage waste streams, including hazardous material disposal, in strict accordance with environmental regulations.
• Operate specialized industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums.
• Ensure all cleaning activities comply with the facility's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any cleaning or safety concerns.

• Previous experience in industrial or heavy-duty cleaning environments is essential.
• Proficiency in handling industrial cleaning chemicals and operating heavy machinery safely.
• A strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards relevant to industrial cleaning.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role, often in challenging conditions.
• Willingness to undergo specific training related to hazardous material handling and industrial cleaning protocols.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport to the Rustenburg facility.
