About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to lead their manufacturing operations in Rustenburg. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring that all manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with stringent pharmaceutical quality standards. You will manage a team of production operators, troubleshoot operational issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring targets for volume, quality, and safety are met.
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to all GMP, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Monitor production processes, identify potential issues, and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Participate in process validation, equipment qualification, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch manufacturing records (BMRs), and contribute to production planning and scheduling.
- Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, manufacturing processes, and quality control principles in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment and production scheduling systems.
