About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Production Line Technician to join their busy manufacturing plant in Rustenburg . This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring that all equipment runs efficiently and safely to meet production targets. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and contributing to a culture of operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with some flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on production line equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, implementing timely repairs.
- Ensure the production line is running efficiently, meeting quality standards and production quotas.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other technicians to resolve complex operational problems.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or Production Line Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in a factory setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site and remote administrative tasks as needed.
