About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to join their maintenance and repair team in Rustenburg . This role is crucial for maintaining the structural integrity and airworthiness of aircraft by fabricating, fitting, and repairing sheet metal components. You will work with a variety of metals and alloys, utilizing precision tools and techniques to meet stringent aerospace standards.

• Fabricate, shape, and fit metal parts for aircraft structures, interiors, and components.
• Perform repairs to damaged sheet metal structures, including patching, riveting, and welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints , engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work meets the precise tolerances and standards required by the aviation industry.
• Use a range of hand and power tools, including shears, brakes, drills, and riveters.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless repairs and modifications.

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Skilled in using sheet metal fabrication tools and techniques, including riveting and forming.
• Knowledge of different aircraft metals and their properties.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a repair team.
