About the Role
Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Production Supervisor to lead the production team in their Rustenburg facility, focusing on FMCG operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards. You will supervise a team of production staff, manage daily operations, and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a productive and safe working environment within the North West province, driving operational excellence in a competitive production landscape.
- Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Manage and motivate a team of production operators, providing training and guidance.
- Monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the production floor.
- Maintain production equipment and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Track production output and report on key performance indicators to management.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry .
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
