About the Role

Our client seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Content Creator & PR Assistant to support their communications team in Rustenburg. This role involves creating engaging content for various media channels, assisting with public relations activities, and contributing to the overall brand messaging. You will work closely with the PR Manager to execute campaigns, manage social media accounts, and prepare communication materials. This is an ideal entry-level position for someone passionate about Media & PR looking to gain hands-on experience in the North West province.

• Create engaging and shareable content, including blog posts, social media updates, and website copy.
• Assist in the development and execution of public relations campaigns and media outreach initiatives.
• Manage and update the company's social media profiles, responding to comments and messages.
• Help organize and coordinate PR events, press conferences, and media briefings.
• Conduct media monitoring and compile reports on press coverage and brand mentions.
• Support the PR team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and maintaining contact databases.

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in content creation and social media management.
• Basic understanding of public relations principles and media relations.
