About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking charity committed to alleviating poverty in the North West province , is seeking a motivated Social Impact Officer to join their team in Rustenburg . This role is central to measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of our client's programs, ensuring they achieve their intended social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement methodologies for measuring and evaluating social impact across all programs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to program outcomes and beneficiary experiences.
- Develop compelling reports, presentations, and case studies to communicate impact to stakeholders, including donors and partners.
- Work closely with program teams to integrate impact measurement into daily operations and program design.
- Identify best practices in impact measurement and contribute to the organization's learning and development.
- Maintain databases and systems for tracking impact indicators and beneficiary data.
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development studies, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in impact assessment , monitoring and evaluation (M&E), or data analysis within the non-profit sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in designing surveys, focus group discussions, and other data collection tools.
- A deep understanding of social development issues and the challenges faced by marginalized communities in Rustenburg .
