The Food Safety & Quality Systems Intern will support the packing operations by assisting with the transition of the Food Safety and Quality Management software, “Smart Food Safe ”. This will provide not just knowledge into FSMA regulations and Quality System principles but hands on experience on how to implement them in a real setting with fresh produce.

Here's what you'll do:

Lead in implementing “Smart Food Safe ” at the TX1 Packing operations

Transition, test and learn all Quality Inspection forms for the Quality Inspection Program

Learn and understand Food Safety Program for the TX1 Packing Operations

Transition Food Safety Program into the “Smart Food Safe ” software and train operations on its: use, KPIs and CAPA

Use “Smart Food Safe ” software to implement new CAPA program for the TX1 Packing Operations

The intern will gain exposure to regulatory & quality standards including:

· FDA Regulations for Food Manufacturing (FSMA & GFSI Standards)

· Quality System Principles

· Digital software management for Food Safety & Quality programs

Qualifications

Grade 12
Diploma or Degree Quality Management.
