Our client is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Development Specialist to join their multidisciplinary team in Rustenburg . This role is crucial in assessing and supporting the developmental needs of children, providing expert guidance to families and educators. You will work with a diverse range of children, identifying developmental delays, and creating personalized intervention plans. The role blends in-person assessments and consultations with remote support, offering a dynamic and impactful career opportunity in pediatric care and early intervention, contributing to optimal child development outcomes within the community and remotely.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children from birth to school age.
- Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to the specific needs of each child.
- Provide direct therapeutic services and support to children and their families, both in-person and virtually.
- Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to child development.
- Deliver workshops and training sessions for parents and professionals on various aspects of pediatric development.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in pediatric development and intervention strategies.
- Master's degree or higher in Pediatric Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working directly with children with developmental concerns.
- Proficiency in conducting standardized developmental assessments and interpreting results.
- Experience with both in-person and remote intervention strategies.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Valid professional registration or certification in a relevant field.
