Social Worker - Community Services

Our client seeks a qualified and dedicated Social Worker to provide critical support services to individuals and families within the Rustenburg community. This hybrid role allows for a blend of in-person client engagement and remote administrative tasks, offering flexibility while ensuring essential community presence. You will assess client needs, develop intervention strategies, and connect them with appropriate resources to foster well-being and social integration.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, identifying social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized case management plans.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to clients and their families.
• Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with community resources and services.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, documenting all interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with other professionals, agencies, and community groups to ensure holistic client care.

• A recognized degree in Social Work and registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in community-based social work.
• Demonstrated experience in case management, counseling, and advocacy.
• Proficiency in using case management software and standard office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively, with strong organizational skills for the hybrid work model.
