Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Computer Vision Engineer to join their dynamic team in Rustenburg . This role is instrumental in developing and deploying cutting-edge computer vision solutions for a range of applications, from industrial automation to advanced imaging analysis. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex algorithms, working with large datasets, and contributing to the overall product strategy.

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and models.
• Work with deep learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch) for image recognition, object detection, segmentation, and tracking tasks.
• Process and analyze large image and video datasets to extract meaningful insights.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and deployment on various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to integrate vision capabilities into client products and services in Rustenburg .

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or machine learning.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision development.
• Strong theoretical understanding and practical application of image processing and computer vision techniques.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python, along with experience in relevant libraries (OpenCV, Dlib).
• Experience with deep learning for computer vision applications.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and GPU programming is a plus.
