Logistics Manager - On-site

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to lead their operations in Rustenburg . This is a critical on-site position responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of all logistics and warehousing activities. You will manage a dedicated team, oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery, and ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.

Your expertise will be vital in driving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to the company's overall success in the competitive Logistics & Warehousing industry.

• Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure optimal service and pricing.
• Lead, train, and motivate the logistics team to achieve performance goals and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws and safety standards.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, implement improvements, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Logistics Manager role or equivalent senior logistics position.
• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, warehouse operations , and transportation logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proficiency with logistics management software (LMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the Logistics & Warehousing sector.
