About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and responsible Aircraft Dispatcher to join their operations team in Rustenburg . This critical role involves planning and monitoring flight schedules, ensuring that all flights operate safely and efficiently within regulatory guidelines. You will be responsible for flight planning, weather monitoring, and communicating essential information to flight crews and ground operations. This hybrid position requires a combination of on-site presence for critical coordination and the flexibility to work remotely when appropriate, ensuring continuous oversight of flight operations in North West province.

• Plan and prepare flight schedules, considering weather, air traffic, and operational constraints.
• Monitor flight progress, provide updates to flight crews, and respond to emergencies or significant events.
• Calculate fuel requirements, aircraft performance data, and weight and balance information.
• Coordinate with air traffic control, maintenance, and ground crews to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and operational records.
• Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies for flight operations.

• Valid Aircraft Dispatcher License (or equivalent certification).
• Proven experience in flight planning and dispatch operations.
• Strong understanding of meteorology, aerodynamics, and air navigation.
• Excellent decision-making skills under pressure.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and communication systems.
