You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are paramount in this role. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining high standards of warehouse organization and productivity within the North West region's industrial landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects regularly.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
