Warehouse Supervisor - Distribution Centre

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of productivity.
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely inbound and outbound shipments.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics such as throughput and accuracy.
• Address operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Contribute to remote strategic discussions regarding warehouse improvements and efficiency gains.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site supervision in Rustenburg with remote contributions.
• Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse machinery.
