Overview
Job Summary:
A closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy serving assisted living facilities in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team. This role requires expertise in LTC pharmacy operations, and for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to grow into a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position.
- Oversee and manage dispensing of medications for LTC patients in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure accuracy in prescription processing and medication management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to optimize patient care.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff.
- Assist in inventory management and quality assurance programs.
- Conduct medication reconciliation for patients transitioning between levels of care (e.g., SNF and acute care).
- Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Duties (if applicable): develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures; oversee staff training and performance evaluations; manage audits, inspections, and licensing requirements; serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and facility administrators.
- Pharmacist license in the state of California (active and in good standing).
- Experience in a closed-door LTC pharmacy is required.
- Proficiency with Framework
LTC software is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of regulations affecting LTC pharmacy operations.
- Ability to lead, manage, and optimize pharmacy workflow.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Details- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
- Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
