Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team! In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. • Perform intake assessments
• Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
• Create individualized treatment plans for each client
• Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Perform regular wellness checks
• Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
• Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized

Virginia L Ray MA CMHC LPC-S, owner, has been providing counseling for individuals for over 10 years. Virginia graduated with a master's degree from Louisiana Tech University in 2013 and gained experience counseling children and families in Colorado with Southeast Health Group. Upon returning home to Ruston, she began helping children and families with the Center for Children and Families out of Monroe and working with the children at the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home.

Since 2022, she has relocated to Utah and gained licensure there to expand her area of assistance to those in need. She has attended many trainings to further her knowledge of counseling. She is trained in EMDR, DBT, Trauma focused CBT, and has a knowledge for Art therapy as well as Play therapy. Her specialty is Anger, Anxiety, Trauma, behavioral issues and much more.
