Security Officer – Bank Campus Patrol –
Ruston, LA

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. As a part‑time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour

• Saturday 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Document incidents and complete required reports according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Follow all instructions and protocols specific to the financial institution environment.

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
