This position is for a full-time Maintenance Technician II with Housing to work at Archway Commons I and II, 150-unit affordable family and senior housing communities in Modesto, CA. These are Tax Credit properties. Must have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Required to complete all janitorial duties. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Must have basic computer skills. Yardi Voyager is a plus. Salary range: $16.68 - $26.88 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $16.68 - $21.78 per hour, DOE. An offer will consider the experience of the final candidate and current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

• All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
• Performs all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches.
• Changes AC filters, checks coils, cleans and repairs when necessary.
• Performs annual unit inspections.
• Ensures the turnover of units within 5 days.

• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• CADL, clean DMV and reliable transportation.
• HVAC certification plus.

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. You will be required to submit and pass our criminal background requirements. Some roles may also require fingerprinting. If onsite housing is required, any household members over 18 who will be living onsite must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening. Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements is a condition of employment.
