Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Specialist in Ruther Glen, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations to help create a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security‑related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the location.
• Document observations and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
