Unarmed Security Officer

Location:

Ruther Glen, VA (Caroline County)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Positions:
Full-Time & Part-Time
Shifts Available: 6am–2pm | 2pm–10pm | 10pm–6am

We are seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team at a large, gated residential community in the Ruther Glen area. This is a patrol-focused position requiring strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and reliable performance. Officers will work in a community environment that values safety, consistency, and professionalism.

• Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout the community
• Monitor access points and enforce community rules and regulations
• Respond to resident inquiries and security-related incidents
• Complete detailed activity reports and documentation
• Maintain high visibility to deter unauthorized activity
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and emergency personnel
• Operate company and/or personal vehicle for patrol duties (as required)

• Valid DCJS Unarmed Security Registration (required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean MVR and ability to pass a driving test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Own reliable vehicle
• Standard security uniform required (details provided upon hire)
• Prior security experience strongly preferred, especially in community, residential, or patrol settings
• Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and reliability
