Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring Commercial Electricians for projects located in the Ruther Glen, VA area. This is a first shift opportunity working Monday through Friday with anticipated overtime and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience. Job Scope:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings
• Route, wire, assemble, and electronic components such as terminal boxes and main control switch panels
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions
• Measure, cut, bend, and install electrical EMT conduit pipe/cable tray and pull wiring through conduit or lay cable in cable tray
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

• Must pass drug screen & background check
• 8 years of experience as a Commercial Electrician
• Proficiency in using tools such as logic controllers, hand tools, ohmmeters, and voltmeters
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems
• Familiarity with 3-4 way switches
