Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and a passion for accuracy? In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving outstanding payments and collections in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and skilled at maintaining strong relationships while ensuring the integrity of financial records and processes.

• Manage a high volume of collections across 30 accounts (Optical, Ophthalmology, and Optometry), ensuring timely and accurate payment receipt.
• Communicate with accounts regarding outstanding balances, issuing invoice reminders and providing customer statements as needed.
• Post and apply payments (ACH, credit card, and checks) accurately and on time in SAP.
• Research and resolve both authorized and unauthorized deductions to maintain account accuracy.
• Analyze open receivables, identify high-risk accounts, and prepare reporting with recommendations for resolution to the AR Manager.
• Process credit card payments and maintain accurate documentation of accounting records, reports, and files.
• Support monthly closings and assist with departmental reporting and reconciliations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; both verbal and written. Genuine passion and advocate of diversity and inclusion and integrates this mentality when making all business decisions (both internal & external).

Preferred knowledge of SAP and Concur.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $50,000 - $60,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
