Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW: The New York Football Giants are looking to add a Digital Platforms Coordinator to its Digital Marketing team. In this role, the Digital Platforms Coordinator will be responsible for design, optimization, maintenance, and growth of the Giants digital platforms, including the team website, mobile app, connected TV app, SMS platform, E-Newsletter, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, a passion for digital platforms, an innovator mentality, and have an awareness of the latest developments and best practices in the tech industry.
The applicant should have previous experience using a CMS and proven web/app development abilities. Strong attention to detail, a problem-solving mentality, and the ability to collaborate with others on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build landing pages and content pages using the Giants website CMSPublish content to the Giants digital platforms
Manage and distribute content for the Giants E-Newsletter, Push Alerts, and SMS platforms
Optimize the layout and design of the Giants website, mobile app, and connected tv app and future platforms
Ideation, development and implementation of mobile app features that engage fans, drive traffic and media consumption and improve the gameday and in-stadium experiences.
Work with community relations, tickets, sponsorship, and other departments to support their digital platform needs
Work with business intelligence team to leverage analytics reports and take a data-driven approach to platform growth.
Work with third party partners and developers to manage new product growth and implementation.
Explore new revenue-generating opportunities
Help manage and ensure quality control of digital platforms.
Work with the graphic design team to uphold the Giants visual identity and brand guidelines.
Help with search engine optimization for all content and landing pages.
Research and stay current on best practices and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and experience in digital media, including mobile and CTV apps - in sports teams, leagues, or media a plus.
2-3 years’ experience in web design and platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience using content management systems.
Background in graphic design helpful.
Availability to adapt to a fast-paced environment involving several simultaneous projects.
Ability to meet deadlines, think creatively, and be a self-starter.
WORK LOCATION &
SCHEDULE:
This position is full time and in-person at the Giants offices located in East Rutherford, NJ.Must be available to work non-traditional hours, holidays, and weekends as it relates to the NFL schedule.
