Packer
The Packer helps ensure that manufactured items are ready for shipment by placing them into containers, sealing and labeling the items, and preparing the item for transport. They also perform final checks for defective items, ensure all items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials and shipments.

- Keepingrecordsofpackagesincludingdeliverynotes,invoices,etc.

- Sealingshippingcontainersandlabelingthemappropriately
- Cleaningshippingcontainersandothershippingsupplies
- Otherdutiesasassigned
- High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Solid work history and attendance record
- Ability to work overtime when production demand requires it
- Must demonstrate a good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to exhibit good judgment related to safety and quality
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations
- Basic math, computer and keyboarding skills to work within the ERP system
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Employee will occasionally lift average of 75 lbs.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing duties of the job, employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
- Shop floor working environment
- Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor
- Noise level is minimal with intervals of spikes.
The compensation range for this position is $31,500.00 - $47,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
