Make reaching fitness goals achievable by assisting members and clients with education and guidance on comprehensive fitness programs including resistance and cardio-respiratory training, general nutritional guidelines, and nutritional product recommendations.
Responsibilities- Create an outstanding initial personal training experience for client introductory packages.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals, including appropriate exercise selection, nutritional programming, and teaching a fitness lifestyle.
- Inform clients of the fitness tools available to assist them in achieving their goals.
- Set expectations and hold clients accountable to their comprehensive fitness programs through goal setting, follow-up discussions, and tracking progress.
- Demonstrate safe and proper exercise technique to clients.
- Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.
- Assist in member service activities such as fitness seminars, boot camps, body fat tables, supplement/nutritional product demos.
- Understand all aspects and benefits of the Gameplan and deliver a positive fitness experience to members and guests.
- Help with racking weights and maintaining a neat, organized, and clean club.
- Schedule all personal training sessions, other appointments, and administrative time using company systems.
- Help fulfill club's service and performance targets for personal training revenue and supplement/nutritional product sales.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Personal Trainer.
- Prior management experience in retail/hospitality industry leading 3–10 employees (preferred).
- Consultative sales experience (preferred).
- One or more of the following certifications:
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, NSCA, etc.), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and similar recognized credentials.
- Ability to work in club office; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, and create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Regularly required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures.
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds.
