MOT Technician

Our Client is seeking a qualified MOT Technician to join their team in Mold. This is a permanent position within a fast-growing national automotive company, offering an excellent opportunity for professional development and career progression.

• Competitive salary of £34,000 per annum, with additional bonuses, reaching an OTE of £36,000

• Conducting MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations
• Performing mechanical repairs such as brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhaust systems, and tyre fitting
• Operating alignment machines and interpreting results for necessary adjustments
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to high-quality standards
• Completing vehicle inspection documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Communicating additional faults to customers and management
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

• Level 3 Mechanics qualification or valid MOT Licence
• Previous experience working within a professional automotive workshop environment
• Knowledge of tyre fitting, brakes, cambelts, and exhaust systems
• Valid UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively within a team
