Site Manager

A leading contractor in the water industry is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a significant project in Nannerch, North Wales. This contract role focuses on civil engineering within the water sector, with a particular emphasis on wastewater treatment works.

• Managing and overseeing all on-site activities for wastewater treatment works projects
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Coordinating and supervising the work of site staff and subcontractors
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance on site
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including financial performance
• Ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained
• Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on site
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Significant experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector
• Proven track record in successfully delivering projects valued at £1m or more
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment works
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline
