We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive fleet maintenance company established nationwide since 2008, for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Cheshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced motor trade individuals seeking a varied and autonomous role within a well-regarded organisation.
The Mobile Vehicle Technician role offers the chance to work across a broad spectrum of vehicles, including high-end models such as Jaguar and Land Rover, with a focus on DPF specialist work, fleet maintenance, and roadside assistance. The successful individual will operate in a support-driven environment, contributing to the efficient servicing and repair of client fleets.
Benefits of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary up to £38,000, with on-target earnings of £50,000
Fully equipped company van and diagnostic tools provided
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am - 4pm
1 in 2 Saturdays off, with flexible day off in lieu

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
Carry out on-site repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on fleet vehicles across Cheshire and surrounding areas
Provide roadside assistance and emergency call-outs, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime
Conduct DPF diagnostics, cleaning, and repairs, with specialisation in Jaguar and Land Rover models
Complete vehicle inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation in line with manufacturer standards
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds certification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; time-served technicians without formal qualifications will be considered based on experience
Demonstrable diagnostic and mechanical skills across a range of vehicle makes and models
Full UK driving licence is essential
Previous experience working with fleet vehicles or high-end marques is desirable but not essential
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a mobile role
