Field Service Engineer

Location: Uppingham

A Field Service Engineer position is available with my client. They are a leader of level and pressure measurement technology and offer solutions to industries as diverse as Offshore & Petrochemical;
Chemical & Pharmaceutical;
Food & Beverage;
Power & Water, Waste Water & Environmental. Their ideal candidate will have proven experience in level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing, and be based in Leicester, Peterborough or surrounding areas.

Field Service Engineer role:
Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for providing on-site services, including:
Commissioning of new equipment.
Servicing and maintenance of existing systems.
Customer training on operation, calibration, and fault-finding procedures.
Offer technical support remotely, advising customers via telephone on fault diagnosis and potential solutions, or arranging for an on-site visit where necessary.
Share application-related experiences with the Sales Engineers to help resolve recurring challenges and improve customer solutions.
Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of support offered to customers.
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
Occasional overnight stays when required.

Field Service Engineer requirement:
Proven experience within a field service role
Previous experience in an engineering or electrical industry.

Experience with level and pressure instrumentation commissioning / servicing would be advantageous.
Qualified to a relevant electrical engineering qualification.
Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Clear and effective collaboration with colleagues, both in-office and remotely (e.g., by phone or email).
Accurately records and stores data related to activities and customer interactions.
Full, clean driving licence required.
