The Candidate

We are looking for a practical, reliable and proactive individual who takes pride in creating a safe, welcoming and well‑maintained environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. You will ideally have experience in a site security, safety, cleaning or maintenance environment, alongside a good understanding of working within a school setting. With a practical, hands‑on approach and excellent attention to detail, you’ll be someone who enjoys finding solutions and making sure things are done to a high standard.

You’ll be organised, approachable and confident in working with a wide range of people, from children and colleagues to contractors and visitors. We’re looking for someone with a friendly yet professional manner, who communicates effectively, takes responsibility and can prioritise tasks while responding positively when priorities change. A genuine ‘can‑do’ attitude is essential, as is the ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute positively to the wider school community.
