Under the supervision of a radiologist, and direction of the Lead CT Tech, this position competently performs imaging on a multi‑detector CT scanner. Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols, recognizing cross‑sectional anatomy, performing CTA's and injecting contrast media where applicable. Provides service excellence and complies with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience
• Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience

• Must possess current VT state RT license
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re‑certification and licensure
• CT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment)

• Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
• Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.*

Pay Range = $31.71 - $46.88
