We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at a respected Skilled Nursing Facility in Rutland, VT. This is an excellent opportunity for local CNAs who are committed to providing high-quality care and support to residents in a long-term care environment. We are hiring for both day and night shift positions.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide support with feeding and meal service
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and other observations as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Promote a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all residents
- Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Current CNA certification in the state of Vermont (required)
- Must be a local candidate (no travel or relocation assistance provided)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long‑term care preferred, but new CNAs are welcome to apply
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Dependable and compassionate with a strong work ethic
