This role involves working within a large, academic, teaching hospital environment, providing specialized cardiovascular operating room care. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their schedule to meet the unit and patient care needs, with the ability to circulate within various OR suites when necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the CVOR Registered Nurse

• Provide cardiovascular operating room nursing care
• Circulate within the cardiovascular suite
• Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations
• Coordinate care across multiple OR suites including General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT as required

Requirements of the CVOR Registered Nurse

• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years OR RN experience with high competency in Cardiovascular / Open Heart procedures
• Experience in large, academic, teaching hospitals required
• Recent Epic experience (within the past 2 years) is mandatory
