Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN), Critical Care / ICU – Vermont

Start Date: October 14, 2026

Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour contract (36 hours guaranteed during orientation week due to midweek start);
Wednesday start dates

• Four-bed open ICU environment in a 25-bed critical access hospital
• Care coordination for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations in critical care settings
• AACN Standards-based nursing practice with emphasis on age-appropriate, professional care delivery
• Rural, independent nonprofit hospital offering primary, preventive, surgical, specialty, and 24/7 emergency services
• Located in Vermont's historic Northeast Kingdom, offering year-round outdoor recreation including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and biking
• Telemetry reading required; midweek orientation schedule

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two years of RN experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Proficiency in reading telemetry
• All credentials must be submitted five business days prior to start date
• Reliable personal vehicle required (rural location with no public transportation or ride-share services available)
