Critical Infrastructure Security Supervisor - Rutland, Vermont

Securitas is hiring for a highly motivated Security Supervisor to help keep our clients site safe in Rutland, Vermont!

Pay: $25.00/hr

Schedule:

Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (5 shifts for 40 hours per week)

* As a Site Supervisor, overtime hours may be REQUIRED as necessary

• Attention to detail, vigilance, and a commitment to compliance are essential in this critical role!
• At least 21 years old
• Strong customer service skills and professionalism
• Quick judgment and ability to safely and swiftly de‑escalate situations
• Prior experience (at least 2 years) in a security role
• Experience in supervisory roles preferred, especially in security or related fields
• Experience in customer service roles preferred
• Ability to obtain Vermont Guard Card (includes a $40 application fee) – we will assist you in applying for this upon accepting an offer of employment!
• Walking/standing for long periods of time
• Willingness to be outside in all types of weather for patrolling purposes
• Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record
• Comfortable operating a company vehicle during mobile patrols

• Ensuring adherence to proper procedures, including reporting practices, camera monitoring, emergency response, and de‑escalation techniques

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
