As a registered charity, we also work tirelessly to advocate for the rights and inclusion of children with special needs, providing resources and support to families and communities.
The RoleWe are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Board of Governors. As a School Governor, you will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership of our school and charity, ensuring we continue to deliver high‑quality education, care and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic oversight and direction for the school and charity.
- Support and challenge the senior leadership team to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
- Ensure financial stability and effective use of resources.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and progress of the school.
- Engage with parents, carers, and the local community to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. While previous experience in education or governance is advantageous, it is not essential. More importantly, we seek individuals who are:
- Passionate about education and the welfare of children with special needs.
- Committed to our values and mission.
- Able to think strategically and work collaboratively.
- Skilled in problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Willing to dedicate time and effort to attend meetings and contribute to the school's development.
