Assembly Technician Industry: Manufacturing
Location:
Ryde
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m.
- 4.45 p.m., Friday 8.00 a.m.
- 2.45 p.m. Days:
Monday - Friday Duration:
Immediate start - ongoing. May be Temp to Perm for the right candidate. Duties
- Assemble a wide range of parts and components using hand tools, power tools, machinery and specialised equipment.
- Working to technical specifications, quality standards, established procedures and manufacturing schedules.
- Align parts to ensure proper fit and function.
- Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry, whilst maintaining a clean and organised workspace and following safety protocols.
- Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools and equipment.
- Must have previously manufacturing experience with the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Must have good hand-eye co-ordination and attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to undertake repetitive manual handling duties
