Position: Engineering Mai 27, 2024 Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer

For our Heating and Refrigeration team in the Netherlands, we are searching for a Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer who is responsible for the design of the heating and refrigeration skid oriented solutions.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

Realization of the engineering, construction designs, material/equipment supply and project management for refrigeration projects.

Lead specific standardization, modularization and R&D projects.

Consult and report to the Team leader Refrigeration Engineering on the work to be performed and its progress.

Calculate/verify/match the (main) components of the system and prepare material specifications.

Design and realize refrigeration diagrams and parts lists.

Calculate all pipe diameters and select the needed accessories.

Set up draft P& CAD engineer for non-catalog projects.

Execute the factory acceptance test (FAT).

Prepare orders for components and external assembly.

Prepare CE certificates (Machine Directive and PED) together with Documentation Support Officer.

Ensure that our skids are built according to the developed engineering standards.

Your profile and qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

Practical experience in execution and manufacturing methods.

Strong affinity in modular design thinking.

Excellent in English;
Dutch language preferred.

Ability to work independently on solutions.

Good collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration Contracting operational processes and procedures.

Familiarity with standards, safety regulations, testing requirements, and country-specific requirements.

Materials knowledge.

Ability to independently organize activities and determine work order.
