Registered Behavior Technician; RBT

Overview

Centria Health is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with their direct leader. You will build trust and care with the child and their family in their home setting within 15 minutes from where you reside.

Hourly Rate: $17 - $20

What makes this role unique?

• 15-20 hours/week, with a varied, flexible work schedule
• Assignments within 15 minutes from your residence

• Adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors to provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child’s home.
• Partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include numerous physical and mental exercises to support the child.
• Engage actively with children using evidence-based techniques and may involve physical activities, including standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying objects up to 50 pounds.

• A passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives.
• Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test (if not completed within the past year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare or classroom setting (preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment (preferred).
