Job Summary: As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post‑operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities include managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, responding to complications, providing initial wound care, ensuring patient stability, and collaborating with surgical and anesthesia teams. On‑call availability during selected non‑business hours will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high‑quality patient‑centered care while managing evidence‑based practices.
• Be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team of providers, therapists, and others.
• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to provide safe nursing care independently.
• Assess patient condition, monitor during your shift, and document changes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about medical condition, treatment and follow‑up measures.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in PACU.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 30 days.
