The Department of Biology is seeking a part-time lecturer for winter 2027. You will be responsible for delivering the BIOL 4991A course, which meets twice a week. A Master’s degree in Biology and previous teaching experience in Human Physiology are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Advanced Human Physiology lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Prepare course materials for students effectively
• Assess student performance through assignments and exams
• Foster an engaging and interactive classroom environment
• Contribute to the department’s academic goals and research topics
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Biology required by appointment
• Experience teaching Human Physiology in small classes
• Proven track record of teaching excellence
• Research background in a physiology lab preferred
• Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student success
