Mount Allison University is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic entrepreneur to serve as our Entrepreneur in Residence for the upcoming academic year (September–April).
This role is designed to support students who are interested in entrepreneurship, self-employment, and business development through mentorship, workshops, networking opportunities, and one-on-one coaching.

The Role
Working closely with Mount Allison University's Experiential Learning and Career Development team, the Entrepreneur in Residence will develop and deliver programming that supports student entrepreneurs and promotes entrepreneurship across campus.
Responsibilities may include:
Workload and time commitment may vary throughout the year, but the contract is designed to be flexible to accommodate your existing professional commitments. Or current schedule:
October:
Delivery of one to two in-person workshops to recruit and engage students in entrepreneurship
November:
In person participation on a panel and workshop delivery during Entrepreneurship Week (Nov 14-21)
February and March:
Delivery of one to two in-person workshops to support student prep for summer funding, as well as 1:1 meetings and coaching, online or in person.
March:
Participating as a judge in our summer funding process (one in person afternoon in March)
Compensation is $3,000 per term.
