Senior AccountantFull‑time hybrid role based in the Portland, Maine Metropolitan Area.
Responsibilities- Manage tax compliance and preparation for individual and business clients.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high‑quality accounting and tax advisory services.
- Experience in tax preparation (or auditing with a desire to learn tax).
- Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and general accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 10+ years tax preparation experience.
- Experience in a public accounting firm is an advantage.
