Tiello has partnered with a nationally recognized Security Systems Integrator in search of a Business Development Manager to support its expanding operations in Maine. This role is responsible for driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented professional with proven sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex negotiations and close deals.
A blend of strategic thinking, analytical insight, and creative problem-solving will be key to success in this position.
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across target markets.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Build and strengthen relationships with new and existing clients through consultative engagement.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with company capabilities.
- Research potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to plan and execute targeted initiatives.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the company’s brand and services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Provide regular updates, reports, and market insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, build client trust, and close deals.
- Strong understanding of market research, sales strategy, and negotiation best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
- A sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
