Classroom Support Aide – York County Community Action Corporation

Join our Head Start program to support children from 6 weeks to 5 years in a warm, supportive environment.

• $2,500 sign‑on bonus payable in four installments ($500 after completion of months 3, 6, 9 & $1,000 after 1 year – external applicants only).

• Play with children to support development.
• Provide daily classroom support to teachers and nutrition staff.
• Complete tasks to keep the classroom clean, safe, and inviting.

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSE equivalent.
• Will complete a fully funded Child Development Associate (CDA) course within one year of hire.
• Experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 5 years; special needs experience preferred.
• Immunized against MMR and TDaP.
• Must pass a background check, including DHHS and fingerprinting.
