Job Summary

Plans, designs and constructs manufacturing facilities and related structures | Determines facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources and structural design | Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvements

Essential Functions
  • Manages the development and implementation of industrial manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.
  • Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively.
  • Responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.
  • Implements effective manufacturing engineering methods and provides technical guidance and acts as a resource for manufacturing engineers.
  • Communicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
  • Manages the evaluation of products based on specifications and quality standards.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
Additional Responsibilities

Develops, evaluates, and improves industrial manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
