Job Summary

The hourly rate for this position is $30.21 for 1st shift.

• Assemble components into sub‑assemblies and perform final assembly of aircraft and crew‑served weapons.
• Maintain, set‑up and operate a variety of equipment such as arbor and hydraulic straightening presses, paint.
• Follow established company directives and policies, military specifications, process sheet operations, and instructions.
• Ensure appropriate interchange of sub‑assembly components through a constant awareness of required tolerance and fit of mating parts.
• Use precision functional gages, alignment and work‑holding fixtures, pneumatic tools, drill presses, riveters, etc.
• Perform fitting and rework tasks such as grinding, filling, drilling, etc.
• Use hand tools such as pneumatic and hand‑type abrasive tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, mallets, etc.
• Must have physical ability to lift, move, adjust, etc. items weighing approximately 35 lbs. on a production basis.

• Must pass an Assembly on‑site test using blueprints and be mechanically skilled.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Employee must have basic computer skills and may be required to enter and verify information into written forms or databases as appropriate.
• Average 18 months. Includes over 1 year through 2 years.
