Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Tax Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high‑quality tax and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements, provide strategic guidance to clients, and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior staff.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Lead tax planning and consulting engagements, providing proactive strategies to help clients minimize tax liabilities and achieve their financial goals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train tax staff and seniors, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Assist with firm‑wide initiatives, workflow optimization, and business development efforts.
Qualifications
  • CPA license required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
    Master’s in Taxation preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with tax preparation and research software (e.g., CCH Axcess, Pro System fx, or similar platforms).
